The artifact displayed on this screen is my brother's lucky tie that he would wear to a lot of interviews during the span of his "Job Hunt." He says that it's "simple" and "classy" and fits the description for the dress code for most interviews. After doing research on the job hunt, I came across some articles that mentioned the importance of dress attire in the office and appearance when at work so I believe that this can be considered an extension of this idea. When I asked my brother about the tie, he said that he has been complemented on his tie by business men before and ever since he has stuck with it. Now that he has a job that requires a suit and tie to be worn most days, my brother has a larger collection of ties to choose from, but he says that the "lucky blue tie" always has a place on the tie rack and will he will even wear it on occasion on certain special days. The tie reminds my brother of the countless interviews that he went on the summer of junior year to senior year of college.
